Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities within the Hedge Fund, Asset Management and Retail Brokerage sectors – including new markets, growth areas, trends, and product and services
  • Generate leads and identify prospective clients
  • Build a pipeline of new business
  • Follow up on qualified leads
  • Become a SteelEye ambassador to the external market
  • Develop a solid understanding of SteelEye’s products or services
  • Understand the needs of clients and how SteelEye can help them meet their regulatory requirements
  • Assist in creating client contracts and legal documents
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs with the help of the wider team
  • Attend seminars, conferences and networking events
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring their success at all times
  • Communicate with wider company to ensure issues or concerns are investigated and resolved
  • Coordinate with marketing to help plan sales/marketing campaigns

 

Skills and requirements:

  • Experienced and accomplished new business Sales Manager/Business Developer
  • Background in selling SaaS solutions ideally within the Financial Services industry
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance is beneficial but not essential
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously
  • Driven to meet targets
  • Thrive within a collaborative team environment
  • Strong relationship and account management skills
  • Ability to negotiate, work under pressure and liaise with CROs, CF10s and CEOs within prospective clients
  • Strong attention to detail when working with numbers, pricing and contracts
