You will be joining the Internal Products pod. We are building an exciting app to transform the way we do our internal operations. This is a greenfield project with lot of opportunities to learn and get exposed to all components of software delivery.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering Python micro-services using FastAPI for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure
  • Implementing algorithms to analyse large data sets
  • Developing new user-facing interfaces using ReactJS and Redux, d3.js
  • Building robust, reusable, and easy to maintain UI components
  • Drafting design documents that translate requirements into code
  • Dealing with challenges associated with handling large volumes of data
  • Managing expectations with internal stakeholders and context-switch in a fast-paced environment
  • Thriving in an environment that uses AWS and Elasticsearch extensively
  • Keeping abreast of technology and contributing to the engineering strategy
  • Champion best development practices and providing mentorship

Key skills and experience:

  • Good Understanding of Agile Principles
  • 3+ years’ experience with Python 3
  • Experience with: 
    • Python libraries used for data (such as pandas, numpy)
    • AWS
    • Elasticsearch
    • A widely used front-end library/framework like ReactJS / Angular / Vue
  • Familiarity RESTful API Design Patterns
  • Deep understanding Object Oriented Design and Modelling
  • Knowledge of design patterns
  • Ability to work with ambiguity
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Mature collaboration and mentoring abilities
  • Nice to have:
    • Delivering complex software, ideally in a FinTech setting
    • Experience with CI/CD tools like (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc)
    • Experience with code versioning (git / mercurial / subversion)
