London, 12 March 2021 - SteelEye, the compliance technology and data analytics firm, has been awarded the Best Regulatory Reporting Solution in the HedgeWeek European Awards 2021. This is the third award SteelEye has received so far in 2021. The previous two are:
SteelEye won the award due to its ground-breaking Auto-Trade Reconstruction technology. Launched in August 2020, the service uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to reduce the time it takes financial firms to reconstruct a trade from days to seconds.
The Hedgeweek European Awards recognise excellence among service providers in Europe. SteelEye’s data-centric approach to compliance ensures automated, optimised, and accurate EMIR and MiFIR reporting for clients.
The award reflects to the strength of SteelEye’s regulatory reporting suite which provides best-in-class reporting accuracy and facilitate data analysis for other parts of the firm to identify improvements. In 2020, SteelEye strengthened its reporting offering, rolling out an advanced version of its transaction reporting module which now includes over 300 data validations. The solution now includes full front-to-back workflow automation, which means clients do not even need to login (unless they want to). The reports are reviewed by the system and sent to the regulators automatically.
“Over the past year we have made a number of significant enhancements to our regulatory reporting suite - adding new levels of automation while ensuring complete data accuracy," said Matt Smith, CEO of SteelEye.
"As a result, we have acquired several new clients, including Schroders, and received industry wide recognition.”
SteelEye's extensive range of services include regulatory reporting for MiFID II and EMIR, trade and communications surveillance, best execution, transaction cost analysis, record keeping, trade reconstruction, analytics and more.
